Tuner

The Tuner tool allows us to know if a note we produce is in tune and if it is not, what its deviation is. It also allows us to play a note of a specific pitch in case we want use it as a pedal, for example.

The tuner is activated automatically. To start using it, play a note with a music instrument and it will show its exact pitch.

The letters indicate the note being played and the number, the octave. When the note we are playing is perfectly in tune we will only be able to see the vertical line that divides the window vertically. If the note is in a lower pitch, you will see a blue line on the left side. The further the line is from the middle, the lower the pitch. The same is true in the opposite case, the higher the pitch, the further to the right the blue line will appear.

If you want to change the pitch of the A (for example to 440Hz or 442Hz) just increase or decrease the Hz by pressing the + or - symbols next to the current A pitch text.

To listen to a note, just tap on the letter (note) you want, and if it is a sharp (#) or flat (b) tap on the corresponding symbol next to the large letter that will appear in the center of the window.

To dismiss the window, just tap anywhere outside the tool window.
